The following notes were taken from the liner notes inside the Anagram CD (reproduced here with absolutely no permission whatsoever)
Obsessed
Released as a single in April 1980 (initial copies coming with a free 999 patch) "Obsessed" reached no.71 in the UK National Charts a month later. Some copies of the sleeve actually came with an embossed "Obsessed" logo. Produced by the late Vic Maile, the track was also featured on the "Concrete" LP.
Change
This Cash/Days composition was only ever featured on the B side of "Obsessed" and this is the first time the track has appeared on CD.
Lie Lie Lie (Live)
Recorded live at London's Nashville Rooms, this version of a track previously included as the B side to "Obsessed" and is also making it's debut on CD.
Li'l Red Riding Hood
Issued as a single in June 1981, and a UK No.59 chart hit, this was a cover of the old Sam The Sham & Pharaohs' classic and was also included on the "Concrete" LP. The first 10,000 copies had a shrink wrapped stencil sleeve.
Wait for Your Number To Be Called
This track has only ever been available on the B side of "Li'l Red Riding Hood" and this is the first time it's appeared on CD.
I Ain't Gonna Tell You (Live)
A rare Jon Watson composition, this was recorded at London's Nashville Rooms and was previously only available on the B side of "Li'l Red Riding Hood". To date, a studio version of this track has never been released.
So Greedy(Re-Mix)
A re-mixed version to the one which opens the "Concrete" LP and only previously available on the flip side of "Indian Reservation".
Taboo
Featured on both the B side of "Indian Reservation" and the "Concrete" LP.
Wild Sun
Released as a single in June '82 the 7" and 12" versions were available in black, red and yellow vinyl. It was also issued as a cassette single, copies of which are eagerly snapped up by Punk collectors.
Scandal In The City
This cut was previously only available on the B side of "Wild Sun" and this is the first time it's appeared on CD.
Don't You Know I Need You
Originally featured on the "Concrete" album, this song was also included on the B side to the 12" version of "Wild Sun".
Sex
This was the original version of the track "Obsessed" though with a different intro and chorus lyric. This version was actually issued in Australia on the Liberation label (LS 543) albeit under the "Obsessed" banner.
Painted Smile
Recorded at the same sessions as "Concrete" but, until now, a previously unissued track.
13th Floor Madness
This was released as a 7" and 12" by Albion in October 1983, the band's last single for the label. Also the title track of 999's fifth studio album, the CD version of which features an extended version of the track.
Nightshift
A different version to the one which appeared on the "13th Floor Madness" single and album and another track making its debut on CD.
Arabesque
Available on both the "13th Floor Madness" single and LP.
Book Of Love
A previously unreleased and much superior version of a track that appeared on the "13th Floor Madness" LP.
Hang It All
Another previously unreleased version of a track uncluded on 999's fifth studio album.
It's What You've Got
Vastly different and vastly improved version of a track also originally featured on the "13th Floor Madness" LP.
